Ryan Landis Crit 2 Color/Passion Recipe

This photo was taken with an iPhone 5 IOS 7.0.2. and was edited with the snap-seed application as recommended by the professor. This app allows you the ability to adjust things like contrast and brightness easily. The photo is indeed a little bit of a cliche but i thought the through the fence aspect gave it some character that you wouldn't typically see in a sunset photo. The photo was taken on Kelly drive while walking my dog turbo and i just couldn't resist, the sunset was too perfect that night. The colors just really come alive in the picture with the nice blue, mixed with the yellows and oranges in the clouds coming from the sun. I also liked the depth created by the bushes before the water as well as the shadows cast by the trees on the other side of the river/ Between all the different colors and brightness and darkness i felt as though this picture has a good color contrast going. I took this same shot from a few different angles before deciding this was the one. This class certainly changes your perspective on photos, never before would i have found myself walking around thinking "I have to get a shot of that"
